Optimal image sampling frequency

Hi,

I am curious if someone can offer any guidance on setting the image acquisition frequency for the UVP6-HF?

I am deploying in coastal waters off Greenland and the profiler will be lowered at 0.5 m/s. The default appears to be 2 Hz, but is there any reason why I should not maximize the sampling rate?

I am interested in all particle types, including marine snow, zooplankton, and faecal pellets.

Hi Julek,

You can raise the frequency up to 25 Hz with UVPHF.
